Submission Preparation ChecklistAs part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The author(s) (a) irrevocably grant Education Thinking (i) the right to publish the accepted version of the article open access on its website, and the right to make any editorial changes to this accepted version, i.e. changes that do not affect the substantive meaning of the article; (ii) the right to take any necessary step to ensure the electronic backup, archiving and preservation of access to the published article as a component of the journal content; (iii) the right to take any necessary step for the DOI registration of the published article’s metadata; and (b) agree to mention Education Thinking in any reference to this article once published.
- The author(s) warrant that they have secured the necessary written permission from the appropriate copyright owner or authorities for the reproduction in the article and the journal of any text or other material. They warrant that the article does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
- The author(s) warrant that this manuscript is original, is not under consideration for publication in another journal, and has not been published elsewhere.
- The author(s) warrant that the underlying research was carried out and the article was prepared in compliance with laws and standards of ethical conduct, and that the article contains no statement that is abusive or defamatory, nor is in any way contrary to public order or morality.
If the article was prepared jointly with other authors, the submitting author shall serve as the corresponding author and warrants that (a) all authors of the manuscript have approved the submitted version, including the list and order of authors’ names; and (b) he or she has been authorised by all co-authors to submit this manuscript on their behalf.
The Field Notes section hosts research materials collected within the framework of comprehensive projects as milestones towards prospective fully-fledged research articles. They are not meant as proper research articles per se, but instead present steps of research in progress.
Authors retain their copyrights. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, provided that authors’ copyrights are complied with and the authors and the journal are properly credited.
